CAND FC prepares for 2026/27 season with V.League promotion ambition

At an official ceremony organized by the Ministry of Public Security, CAND Football Club officially announced its ambition to compete in V.League during the 2026/27 season. This marks a significant milestone in the club's professional development journey under the guidance of Major General Duong Duc Hai and the support of the Ministry of Public Security. As part of this strategic plan, PVF-CAND Youth FC has officially transferred all assets and training infrastructure to Hung Yen FC. This decision aims to preserve the youth development system while freeing up resources for the senior team to focus on promotion. The leadership emphasized commitment to developing in a manner "worthy of its name", with goals extending beyond V.League participation to regional competitions like the AFF Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers. State funding through the Ministry of Public Security provides a solid foundation for these activities. CAND FC has announced new additions including goalkeeper Dinh Trieu, forward Viktor Le, and Minh Vuong. High expectations are placed on young players like Ly Duc, Thanh Nhan, and Minh Phuc, who are expected to contribute directly to the team's tactics and results. Regarding match results, CAND FC aims for V.League promotion in the upcoming season. This effort is supported by experience gained from advisors who participated in the national team at the AFF Cup 2026. However, the lack of detailed performance data and analytics (such as xG, possession rates) makes accurate assessment challenging. In terms of sustainable development, the Ministry of Public Security and CAND FC management have implemented risk mitigation measures. State funding reduces financial pressure, while preserving the training system through the transfer to Hung Yen FC helps maintain long-term talent flow.
