FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 Group A: Singapore vs Bangladesh, Malaysia vs Indonesia on September 28

The FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 group stage is taking place in the FIFA Days window from September 24, 2026 to October 3, 2026. On September 28, 2026, Group A features two matches: Singapore against Bangladesh, and Malaysia against Indonesia. Vietnam are also in Group A, but the source data does not list Vietnam’s exact match on this matchday. Broadcast information shows the matches are offered via FPT Play and TV360, with VietNamNet providing commentary. This is a common distribution structure in Vietnam: OTT platforms carry the live action, while the news portal acts as an entry point. The Malaysia–Indonesia match is expected to draw strong live-viewing demand due to the traditional rivalry between two Southeast Asian football nations. Viewers should be cautious, though. The original broadcast data contains mismatched platform labels: one link labelled TV360 points to an fptplay.vn domain, while another labelled FPT Play points to a tv360.vn domain. This can send fans to the wrong streaming page, especially for the most anticipated fixture of the matchday. What stands out is the absence of tactical, line-up, injury and player data. Therefore, any assessment of Singapore, Bangladesh, Malaysia or Indonesia based on the current source lacks evidence. Malaysia–Indonesia has historically meant high physical intensity and set-piece battles, but that reflects regional rivalry patterns rather than official tournament data. From a Vietnamese fan perspective, Vietnam being in Group A makes this matchday useful for watching direct rivals. Still, supporters should wait for standings, official schedules and squad lists from FIFA, AFC and the Vietnam Football Federation before building expectations.
